The second one was a spirit gu7r custom whose flame maple veneer i scraped off (to dad's alarm!), hollowed out a couple of chambers in the body and covered them with brushed steel plates (thanks dad!); put a moses graphite neck (hey i did all of this myself!) and finally had a tech install Joe Barden pickups. These two guitars are now with friends.
